2.The Torah of Moses and the Qur’an came from the same God (Allah)

IS TODAY’S TORAH CORRUPTED?

My strong personal opinion

The Qur’an and Muhammad (pbuh) confirm that the uncorrupted Torah existed in 7th century AD (1st century of Hijra)

Islamic sources

(Qur’an 2:41; 2:89; 2:91; 2:97; 2:101; 3:78; 3:81; 3:93; 4:47; 5:15; 5:43; 5:46; 5:48; 5:68; 6:92; 10:94; 35:31; 46:12, 29-30; 62:5; Sahih Bukhari 809, Sunan Abu Dawud 4434, Sirat Rasul Allah, Chapter 9)

Alex’s Tafseer

These words tell us clearly that the Jews, who lived in Yathrib (Madinat al-Nabi) and even in Khaybar (see Seerat Rasul Allah) had in their possession the copy (copies) of the Torah where all these claims by Allah could be found and verified.

Alex’s Tafseer

These words tell us clearly that the Jews, who lived in Yathrib (Madinat al-Nabi) and even in Khaybar (see Seerat Rasul Allah) had in their possession the copy (copies) of the Torah where all references to Muhammad could be found and verified. It means that if these references were removed, they were removed after the jews met with Muhammad face to face, and no earlier than 622 AD.

Alex’s Tafseer

The Torah in the possession of the Jews in 622 AD contained moral judgement. But they did not follow it. It indicates that the Jews never changed anything in the Torah, simply because the first thing they should change is a moral law, nothing else is important.

Sunan Abu Dawud, book 38, number 4434: Narrated Abdullah Ibn Umar:

A group of Jews came and invited the Apostle of Allah to Quff. So he visited them in their

school. They said: AbulQasim, one of our men has committed fornication with a woman; so pronounce

judgment upon them. They placed a cushion for the Apostle of Allah 1.) who sat on it and said: Bring

the Torah. It was then brought. He then 2.)withdrew the cushion from beneath him and 3.)placed the Torah on it saying: “I believed in thee and in Him Who revealed thee.”

Alex’s Tafseer

If Muslims insist that this Hadith is Week, I will point out that it is nevertheless consistent with the above passages of the Qur’an about the Torah’s  reliability in 622 AD.

My strong personal opinion

The Qur’an and Muhammad (pbuh) confirm that the uncorrupted Torah existed in 7th century AD (1st century of Hijra)

Archeological facts

Archaeological discoveries of the last century confirm that the Torah has never been corrupted over the last 2100 years.
